We used Flowerama on Myrtle Ave. in Queens. The service and quality were great. My husband is used to wearing his own tux, but since we were going with the grey stiped pants and tails he rented, and said the suit was comfortable, as were the shoes. Also, my FIL goofed up and did not get the tuxes returned until about 4 or 5 days later, but they did not charge any extra late fees.

Try Ray`s on New Hyde Park Rd. in Franklin Sq. Their prices are reasonable and their service was great. I bought mine, but their rental prices are pretty typical. The service is the difference.

Try Sal's Fashions in Massapequa

Kathi, Although my wedding isn't until October, we still have plenty of time to look for tux's, but one day my fiance and I were out and about and we stopped at a couple of tuxedo shops. Out of the 5 shops we stopped in ,only sal's had a jacket and vest to fit my husband. He is very big guy, and very broad from working out. every store said they don't carry that size and it would have to be ordered.( needless to say he was very frustrated!) not only did sal's have his size jacket to try on, their deals and price were better than the other places. we won't be going for tux's until Aug.-Sept, but we are definitely using them. Good luck in your search!
