No actually gives me a preview to what is in store for me. Last years orientation was so bad kids sliding down the banisters and cursing and calling me dude!! School year was pretty much the same!!!

No I am truly not! But the first month you have to be tougher than you normally would be! If they knew I was a softy they would walk all over me from the get go!!!
I had a student from my first year at my wedding! She is in college now-- I am so daMn old!

Oh CUT IT OUT! You are truly only as old as you feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really believe that. My 70 something year old grandmother can party her pants off much better than I can at times and GOD BLESS HER! I hope I can have at least 1/2 the amt of energy that she hs at her age~! Good to know - have to be a toughie your first weeks in... :) I am currently a serious career change-er!

I know what you mean my 93 year old aunt just died in March but 2 years ago at my masters graduation party she grabbed the DJ's but because he was cute and asked him if you wanted to with her!!
She said she was looking for a 'rabbit' he had to have his own car, money and a working prostate!!

We asked her if she knew what she wanted to do with him if she ever got him and she explained it in graphic detail! There was no confusion in that one!
