Not only outside, but also at a restaurant in Brightwaters. Had a lovely time. Wonderful food, good friends, my loving relatives. My mom put this together and had a great time. I'm planning on doing donation favors for the wedding, but my mom had two favors by our plates--mint candies and little sachets filled with lavender. I told her she was making me look bad. The centerpieces had yellow roses plus blue and yellow butterflies on sticks, and they were so pretty! She also put out little bride and groom figures, all different. I'm swiping those for the wedding. We had a great lunch, then played a fab 50s vintage version of bridal bingo, with really nice prizes (I made sure I didn't win any.) Then presents. I got some lovely things. My sister gave me the fab 50's-style planter I've been eyeing for a while, but it was too much money for me too buy. A friend gave me an amazing array of vintage vanity items, so sweet, and very me. My FH's dad's live-in girlfriend bought us ALL the towels and the bathmat from the registry, which was amazing. My aunt and cousin gave me the food processor from my registry, friends gave me many more things too. So many great gifts. I'm so lucky. And I did wear my Boden dress with a cardigan.
