I had my surpirse shower 3 weekends ago....but am just now receiving pics from people. They got me good, I thought I was going to a brunch for a friends birthday.
It was beautiful and my family and BM's did an AMAZING job.
My BM's gave me the most amazing present too. They presented me with a wine rack and then pulled out a bottle of wine or champagne to drink on all of our 'firsts' (first anniversary, first Christmas, first home, first fight) and then read a little poem about us for each. And then the last bottle of wine was to be opened for a 'last' - my last night being single to be shared with all my girls. It was a tear jerker- the whole place was balling.
looks like an awesome shower!!! I love that idea with the wine!!! Congrats!!!

congrats!! I love the wine idea, I might have to steal it for my MOH for her shower. If you have it I'd like to see the poem.

Each bottle had a separate poem and was personalized using our names and stuff.
For example, the bottle of wine for our first home said something like:
'Raise a glass and make a cheers, For something you will have for years Open this bottle in your brand new home...'
And the one for our first fight said something like:
'This bottle is for a not so fun night, It's to be used after your first fight. Hopefully this bottle will stay in the vault, But if it comes out, we know it's Drew's fault'
that was the cutest one...
