but I've finally decided to quit smoking. I haven't had a cigarrette since Sunday 10:00p.m....yes I'm counting! It's tough but I know I can do it. The best part is...George has quit with me!!

The best thing to do is to start working out - it's a great way to celebrate the lungs! I did it after I quit, and it made me feel so much better - plus it fills up time you would spend wanting or munching to keep yourself busy... My friend began running after she quit, and she said it made quitting so much easier - reminds you what your lungs are for!!!
I wish my other friend would quit for good - she keeps quitting and starting... Maybe I'll start bugging her again!

Good for you and George, Irene!!!!!!!!!!! I know you can do it! Believe me if BOTH of my parents quit--ANYONE CAN!!!
They used commit losenges and the worked! Plus quitting together really help!!!!!!

Good for you! I quit last November and FH quit this past summer. It's hard but you'll get through it. I just think about my unborn kids and how I want to be around long enough to see them get married. It's kept me from giving in to temptation!

Yay!!!! FH and I quit together as well, on the 27th it will be 14 months ago!! Congrats, and stick to it!!!
I think it was so much easier quitting with him.

John quit smoking over 3 years ago cold turkey! He knew that if he ever wanted a chance with me, he had to quit. I spent a lot of time with him being supportive. You can do it!!!!
