So last night was my first fitting. My MOH wanted to come with me, I guess she knew it was going to be a little emotional. I have not seen my dress in forever and a lot transpired in between from saying 'YES' to the dress, from the arrival of my dress and finally seeing her again for my first fitting. Between all the planning, the DIY projects, making payments, sending out the invitations and patiently waiting for the RSVP's and mail stalking (lol), bridal shower; yesterday was the first time that it truly hit me. After all the ups and downs, the good and bad, I'm going to be a bride!!!! I'm going to be marrying my best friend in 50 days and everything is as it should be. Amazing day and amazing feeling. Can you tell I'm just one big mush. Lol Happy Friday to all you amazing ladies!!!

Aww sweetie that is so.sweet! I need to have that moment bc right now I'm up to my elbows in diy projects and the good and allot of bad lol No but I'm very happy for you...and omg 50 days!! Exciting!!!

Omg I want that feeling, I didn't cry when I said yes, still waiting for that moment. So happy for you, can't believe it's already 50 days away, I remember you posted 6 months like yesterday.... 2015 brides: time is flying!!!

I didn't cry either when I said yes, I tend to cry more listening to some music I was picking for the wedding.

Thank you ladies so much. Soooooooooooooo much transpired from when I said 'YES' to the dress to yesterday. Trust me when I say you all will experience at some point, that moment, when it really hits you. Whether it be when you find the dress, when you see her again, when you send out the invitations, when you get your first RSVP, your shower, looking at your DIY projects. Whatever it may be at some moment you will experience it and it is so euphoric.

Lol. I am doing really well with my contacts. I'm not going to lie, it was a pain in the butt in the beginning. Lol I was a hot mess actually. First I couldn't get them in, then I couldn't get them out, then I thought it was going to get stuck behind my eyeball. I drove my FH crazy. Plus I like my glasses and without them I just felt so exposed. Now it's a piece of cake. Don't get me wrong, I have my days when I want my Linus blanket (AKA my glasses) but I'm doing good.

I play specific songs that will be played the day of the wedding in hopes I will be all cried out aaaaaaaaand that does not work. I cry just the same as if I heard it for the first time. Hahahahahahaha

That's so amazing! So glad you had such a fantastic moment at your fitting. That's what its all about right? I think sometimes you get caught up in all the logistics of the wedding day, you forget the real meaning...you are marrying the love of your life and best friend! xo

Such a nice post to read! I think with all of the stress from planning we all get lost in this process and forget what it's really about. Glad to see everything is coming along for you! Those 50 days are probably going to go so quickly
