Hi Ladies!!! So DH and I did not go on our honeymoon right away due to our schedules. SO we will be going away to Italy and Greece this summer. We don't know where to start. I'm gonna buy some books about each, but any help you could give us is reallyl appreciated. What places do we absolutely have to see in Italy and Greece and the most economical way to do it. We have hotel covered, so that's not a problem no matter where we go.
I do know we plan on flying in to Rome.

Re: Italy and Greece HELP
i just got back from my HM in Italy (we got back on sunday), FH and i spent a week on the amalfi/sorrento coast and a week in Rome, we went to Florence for a day. We absolutely LOVED the coast. we didnt want to leave there, and once we got to Rome all we did was rush around the whole time. It was fun, dont get me wrong....just not very relaxing. I definately recommend you hit up the coast, take a day trip to Capri, it's very romantic there. FM me if you want info on where we stayed. our hotel on the coast was a little out of the way from things, but it was like heaven on earth!!! The people there treated us like family, everyone in that area was just so nice, and it really felt like Italy! Rome was much more croweded and touristy, and almost felt like New York with a bunch of super old buildings every few blocks.

I work in travel & my advice is if you want economical- book a cruise- they cant give cabins away on the ships & we are seeing prices that we will never again see- also since the dollar is so weak against the euro- a cruise will save you a fortune on food & allow you to see a ton of places in a short time- I did the Carnival Freedom last year to Italy for 10 days & it was incredible good luck

Venice is the most amazing place and Rome is very cool too because of the history. Florence is nice, but i wasnt in awe of it.
The best places in Italy is the Amalfi coast. We stayed in Sorrento and took day trip to Amalfi, Capri and Positano.
We started in Venice, then Florence and Rome for a week. Second week we spent in the Amalfi coast.
I will try to find some pictures.

It definitely depends on what you want to see and how you're going to tavel around.
Venice is a must...but you can do it in a day if you want. Florence is gorgeous and so is Rome..they're both so full of history and art.
Capri is by far my favorite place in the world. It's gorgeous and just amazing.
We went to florence and along the coast...gorgeous!
