and I attempted to drive to the train station (I live in Holbrook and commute to NYC). I drove about a half mile, turned around and came home! Totally not worth it. I will do some work from home today, but mostly, I will stay in my PJ's, watch movies, and drink tea/hot chocolate! I LOVE SNOW DAYS!

I didn't even make an attempt, turned on the news saw the snow and accidents were worse in Westchester (where I work) than Long Island and decided I didn't need to go in. My boss called to make sure I wasn't going in. She's awesome.

OH NO!!!!!! Krissy, go to FutureMrsPD's office!!!!! Hope you are better tomorrow. What is it with all of our brides eing sick before their weddings? Teeni was sick and then another bride had to cancel her honeymoon because both her and her DH were sooo sick. I hope you break the cycle!!!!

I have a drs appt at 9 -- in massapequa and I live in Huntington .... as you can see I am not even attempting yet. Thing is, I need to go -- I get a shot every week for a skin issue -- and if I skip, I'll be off schedule. So, I am going to try to go later in the day, when there are less people on the roads hopefully and when they've plowed more. It only takes 5 mins so I can get scheduled in anytime, really.
And my boss called and told me not to go to work, so I am doing some work from home today.

You're soo lucky. Sometimes it just isn't worth it to drive in these conditions.
I'm at work..but i shouldn't complain i just had to get to the subway, then when I get to my job the station connects directly to the buidling.

I have to drive to the train station, take the LIRR for an hour and a half, leave Penn Station, walk to the subway, take hte subway 6 stops, go outside and walk a block to my office......that was TOTALLY not happening today!
