We got a puppy! Well, she is 8 We adopted a Rat Terrior from Little Shelter, her name is Minnie! Her previous owners foreclosed and they couldnt take her to their apartment She is adorable, so friendly and calm.
Minnie is DH's first dog, he is like a kid in a candy store, its cute!
I got home late last night and minnie was waiting for me! She is adorable and so loving. Layla has not left our bedroom in three days she is scared of Minnie but Im sure they will get along, it will just take time.
omg that is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't wait to see pictures!!! good luck with her!! adopting an older dog is such an awesome thing to do.. they still need lots of love and a lot of the time people forget that!!!!

haha, they are kinda apprehensive with each other. No fighting, just a lot of sniffing and staring. We keep minnie in a different room at night and while we arent home (for the time being) until they get used to each other.
