my sister is moving to california. i am afraid i am never going to see her and she won't come to the wedding. it really bothers me that she's not my MOH because she declined when i asked. she doesn't understand that it's really important to me. This stinks

Re: It's a sad day today
Don't think that. I moved to California for 3 years and one of my sisters did too. I just moved back east last year and she is still out there. I still saw everyone a few times a year and I still see her. She is flying in from my shower, bachelorette party and the wedding of course.
Why did she decline?? Was it cause she was moving? I have 3 MOH's since one is in California and one i up at college. SO between the 3 of them I always have somone to help me.... could you have done something like that???
Just an idea.
Good luck!!!

It wouldn't surprise me if she didn't show up. She hasn't even asked how wedding plans are going. she did tell me that it bothered her that everyone is talking about me getting married and no on is talking about her moving. Maybe she's upset because I'm younger and I'm getting married?
That might be the case. I am the oldest and I know I would of been upset. Its not fair tobe upset but I thinks human nature in a way. I am sure she is happy for you but it may have made her feel insecure with where things are in her life. I would try to talk to her about things before she moves. Maybe plan a surprise bon voyage party so that she can feel special too.
