It's approx 9 months til the wedding.

I still haven't ordered a dress - when am I pushing it? I know it depends on designer - the most expensive designer I'd go with is prob Pronovias....

Id say you have another month tops. My dress is from Moonlight and they told me 6 months for it to come in.

ditto. I would try and order now so you still have a cushion for the delivery.

My wedding is the date after yours - almost date twin lol! I just ordered my dress yesterday - and it was my first shopping trip lol! Dont worry - you'll be fine. good luck!!

i'd get a move on if i were you. for example, private label by G can take up to 9 months

I haven't bought my dress either!!! I'm not too worried though!! I have almost everything else!! Just missing Limo's and videographers!!!

Just don't rush and buy something on impulse, take your time!!

I say ASAP. Sometimes there are problems, it takes longer than anticipated, they order it wrong (GASP)

I have major construction going on at my house and have literally no time to go. I don't anticipate the construction being done until 2 months from now.

i think every designer is different. if you know you're going to order a pronovias dress, then ask a bridal salon how long it usually takes for pronovias dresses to come in.

My wedding is July 12th and I was told at several places that the latest I could have pushed it was end of September, first week in October.....so, considering you are a month and change before me, I'm guessing you should have it ordered before the end of September to play it safe. If you are customizing it, or having it made hollow to hem, go this weekend! lol

Jenn I would definetly get on that. It might take you a few tries to find the dress you want so I would definetly start looking hardcore right about now. But if you find a dress you love and they say it takes longer than you can wait I think most places will do a rush on an order
