.....but I think it's time for LIW and I to part ways. My wedding is coming up, and it's pretty much planned....
and I'm sick and tired of having to read the same people having the same arguments day after day, without ever listening to anyone else's opinion, yet insisting that their own opinion be held in the highest regard.
It's petty and immature and I've had enough of it.

For the record, I never accepted a bribe from any of my vendors. I posted only truthful information, as far as I knew it. I said nice things about people because I felt they deserved it. And I kept any negatives to FM, to save the feelings of other brides who had already booked them.

Good luck to all of you through your planning and in your lives. Keep in mind - this is just a message board. Try not to let unkind words get to you.

I agree with you 100% except for one thing . . . DON'T LEAVE!!! If the kind hearted people start leaving this board because of petty things, we will lose what this board is meant to be. If you do decide not to return, best of luck to you with your wedding!!!!!

You should just ignore them(like I do), it does get old, but there is so much more than that. If you decide to leave, I wish you all the best and happiness in the world

Palebride, I often feel while reading your posts, that there is some sense of sanity and truth and I will miss you if you leave. However, I do understand your position, and while I hope you change your mind, I wish you much luck if you decide to leave!

It would suck to see someone as nice and honest as you leave the boards!

It is unfortunate, but in any bulletin board set up you are going to come across this issue whether it be about weddings, trucks, or cosmetics.

You are right it is very frustrating, but I do wish you will decide to stay on and not pay so much attention to negative aspects of the human condition.

Lori, I think LIW needs people like you. We are all here for honest opinions and if everyone only says positive things (when they're not warranted) it won't help anyone. Don't let a few people ruin it for you. There are a lot of nice girls (and guys) on this site. The boards are a better place with you here.
