For the record, I never accepted a bribe from any of my vendors. I posted only truthful information, as far as I knew it. I said nice things about people because I felt they deserved it. And I kept any negatives to FM, to save the feelings of other brides who had already booked them.

Lori! Are you kidding? You cant go! You are one of the few that keep this board sane, happy, smiling, and calm- You ease all frustration from your posts that top over the negative ones!!

Please do not let a few immature and silly people drive you to leave the boards - I almost did a few times and a wise girl once said IF I leave they will have gotten what they wanted - to push people around until theirs is the only opinion around.
I hope you will not let a few negative people ruin the connections you have made with people on this board. But if you feel you must leave I wish you the best of luck with your wedding and your future endevors

Lori/Palebride: I truly hope you take the time you need to get away from this drama, and perhaps rethink and/or continue to post on the boards, because you have ALWAYS been a great asset to all the future brides on here .. I can clearly remember when I first signed onto LIWs and always noticed your cool avatar, and your honest (yet respectful) posts ...
You were so sweet, helpful and supportive to everyone. I'll always appreciate your input, even though you don't know me!
However I respect and understand your feelings about leaving -- if you choose to do so, I wish you much love, joy & happiness as you begin your life with FH.

Ok well i am a little put off by this. I understand you don't like all the bs...BUT there are a lot of girls who are here who need help. Not everyone is going to agree all the time. You have venders that i don't like but hey...that is what makes you YOU and that what makes me ME. Why do you let silly posts bother you so much...Who cares? Things like that should never be taken seriously.... I just think we are learn alot from each other and i would hate to see you cut out sooo easily. You input, advice and opinions are always welcome and needed. SO please think about it.

Gosh... I feel like I came in on the tail end of something, because I have no idea what's going on, but I know that in the short time I've been reading/posting, you have been so helpful and knowledgable and saved me a lot of research etc.
You shouldn't go... you add so much value, and we SO want to hear about your life and experience post wedding, so sleep on it!

Dont go!!! Come over to the boards....its great over there!!! I dont know what people are talking about with bribes, I love my vendors and will brag about them, thats it..Ive gotten nothing! You stay strong and come visit me on the Newlywed boards, if we dont hear from you..have a BEAUTIFUL wedding, and then come over to the newlywed boards..have I mentioned that you should come over to the Newlywed boards???

dear lori - it would be a terrible shame if you decided to leave- i feel like i missed out on something big with all this talk about bribes ( do people really do that - geesh) i havent been around as long as alot of the gals who responded to this post - but honestly hon you are one of the few folks who always has something positive to say would be a shame if all the good folks left ... i do however understand where you are comming from about all the petty arguments that happen here - ( my philosophy on that is not to read it - when i feel a big debabte possibly comming on from a post i skip the whole thing - really isnt worth it to argue with folks - JMO) be well lori and take care of yourself should you decide not to return ...may your wedding turn out to be all you dreamed
