its been such a big day

Uhhhh.. well to start its my birthday.. But it doesn't feel like it, I was up at 4:30 am to take my mom back to the hospital for surgery.. What stress, we couldn't get in to the city people were driving east in the west bound lanes there were cars with water to the roofs! I've never seen anything like it.. 3 and a half hours later and we were finally there, when they whisked her off because we were so late and we were the 1st surgery, holding up all the other surgeries after.. and 4 hours later she was out of surgery,, doing okay, but it looks like they have to operate again on Friday... and I have no idea how I'm going to be able to take another day off from work, I just took today and they need a family member there during surgery and I'm her health care proxy and my sister refuses to do it, and I just started a new job, and it was kinda hard to get today off.. I don't know what to do I'm so tired and stressed out.. oh and its exactly 2 months from today we get married, and my invites went out, but I didn't even get to mail them FMIL had to b/c I realized I wasn't going to be home in time to get to the post office.. I know its so stupid to be upset, but I really wanted to send them..I think I need to sleep

I'm so sorry that you're so stressed. You probably need some time to relax and regroup. I'm sending good wishes to you and your MOM. I'm sure everything will eventually turn around.

So sorry to hear about you stressful day. Is there any reason in particular that your sister refuses to be there for your mom? Can you explain to her the situation regarding you new job? Are there any other relatives that can be there for your mom? I wish you the best

My sister is just the biggest B-I-T-C-H in this world, she thinks that the world relvolves around her and she says if she doesnt go to work she losses $300 a day.. well sorry but i don't make nearly that much and my $$ right now is going towards something huge, she pays for nothing has no living expenses or anything! but she can't afford to be out for one day! I might lose my job!!
My brother lives out of state, and her parents are just not well enought to make the trip to the city.. and thats our family......and the hospital really frowns apon friends standing in the place, at that point they'd rather just call you...
I can't lose my job, not yet at least.. I don't know what to do I feel like throwing up I'm so sick to my stomach over it all!
