Its good to know I can come to the 05 boards

Sometimes I just get tired of the BHB board. Im glad I can come here. I just wish it was busier here, ya know!

Hey girls. I know you may think it's less busy here, but I find that I get quicker and more responses when I post on here than on the other boards. Us 05ers have to look out for eachother

So many new 05 brides!!! I remember when we were only a handful!! We've grown so much!! I've seen plenty of bridal clicks come and go, but this 05 group is a real good one!! I've made so many friends here!!

What wedding stuff are you concentrating on at the moment?

I'm obsessing over wedding attire- my sister is leaving friday for the Philippines. She is getting her dress made there, as well as picking up the barongs for the groomsmen. We have a general idea of what she wants, but I am anxious to see what she GETS.

Aw, Aga, it will be fine! I booked 12th Night for photography, and Flower Michele for flowers.

We are getting married in the RH, so I dont know about churches.

well, my family is Polish so I would like to find a Polish speaking priest... the ones that are around here I heard horrible stories about... we had civil ceremony already and catholic church doesnt recognize that you know and they look at it as mortal sin and I have heard some people had a hard time when they went to talk to a priest... thats why I am putting it off

Aga, I don't know where you live, but I'm near Greenpoint, Brooklyn, which is a very Polish area. Maybe you could look into finding a priest in that area??

Oh, darn...then you do already know of that area...I don't know of any other suggestions. Well, maybe when you check them out it will go better than you anticipate.

Did you look at the red church with the white detailing on Manhattan Ave (I'm terrible for not knowing the name)?

Im not sure if this is an option for you, but I know of a catholic church on long island that is VERY understanding of certain situations. Its in Seaford if your interested. FM me if you want more info.

Im at a point where there is nothing for me to do. I still have a lot of time on my hands but I have all my vendors out of the way. Im waiting for my sister to come in august so we can go look at dresses (finally!!)
