It's kinda sad, but...

Do any of you look at posts from the older boards and wonder how many of those brides got divorced?

Here's why I write this -- I was stalking my sister on here the other day (she was married in 2007) and reading through her old posts to see if she ever said anything bad about me (she didn't). I came across a profile that's caption (where it says 'board enthusiast' or 'wedding newbie') read 'divorced' and I got sad! So I checked out her profile and under groom it said 'cheating b*stard' and a bunch of other stuff...

I do this from time to time when FH look at wedding pictures too. I always look through the books at RHs and the ones photographers have and wonder if those couples are still together. Am I the only one?

same here, sad but true......

i was bored once and also a bit interested and searched for the word divorce, did not come up with much but figured (unfortunately) that the topics on divorce might be over on lif. God Forbid this was going on in my life, the LAST thing I would want to do is be on liWEDDINGS. I know moral support and all but to have that word in your face must be terrible.

It is sad though to think about these brides who were once planning so happily and now are divorced.

I wonder about that too... girls who kind of just disappear from the boards... have they called off their engagements?

I wonder that too, if that is the reason they have left.

Statistics say half of us we'll get divorced....

No one thinks it will be then... but like a friend of mine says: 'You're just one argument away from splitting up.'

With Facebook and all, we'll probably be in touch a lot longer than if we were just on LIW/LIF... so I guess we'll find out eventually.
