We had Ernesto! Up until the night before they predicted this awful rain all day that Saturday. I was not happy, especially because the cocktail hour was outdoors AND I wanted to be able to take pics on the grounds of Woodbury Country Club since they're so beautiful. Well the rain actually held off though it was very windy. We still got to take pics outside the church and on the grounds at Woodbury.
All along, I was all upset that I didn't have enough invitees/money to have a night reception but after seeing how it poured like crazy that night I am so glad I had a day wedding after all. Plus the overcast skies make for perfect photo/video lighting. No sun glare!

Since there is a 60% chance of rain on my wedding day next week, I found this and felt better

Still would never have wanted it to rain on my wedding day! I don't crre how cute the umbrella may look!

I do feel so horrible for brides that rain on their wedding day. Its so easy for me to now say 'u cant control the weather' [cause my wedding is over and it didnt rain]

Beautiful pictures, but I would freak if it rains on my day. I love the pictures with the rainbows and the lightning though.

I've seen this before and I LOVE it!!! being that it almost always rains on the weekend i am getting married .. it makes me feel better!

Rain is my biggest fear on my wedding day!! In fact I am planning the big day as if it will be downpouring all day! These pictures made me feel so much better! Love them!!
