We're buying my grandparent's house in Lake Ronkonkoma!! We should close in 2 - 3 weeks. My grandfather built the house 48 years ago and wanted it to stay in the family. We'll be doing major construction by adding a second floor and extending the first floor so construction should start in September. We are so excited!! I'll post pics when the house is officially ours, then there will be lots of progress pics to share. We already got our preliminary plans from the architect and it's going to look so different but be beautiful.

It's much quicker when it's a sale between family. We're using the same lawyer.
I'm a nut when it comes to picture taking, so there will be plenty of pics to share.

Yes! My grandfather and his brothers and brothers-in-law built the whole thing themselves and my grandfather is the only one who is still alive I think the thing I love most is that when they poured new concrete for the pool patio I was about 1 0r 2 years old and they put my footprints in the concrete. It's still there but wearing away.
