It's Official

I was one of the girls who had booked my RH before I was engaged. Well it is official I am engaged, my FH proposed Friday night!!

He tricked me into thinking me we were picking up his friends who were flying into jfk from mexico and taking a cab to meet us by the Brooklyn Bridge and we were going to grab dinner. So we parked and walked down by that area by Ice Cream Factory and I was taking pictures. Someone else showed up so he felt weird at the point getting down on his knee and being we already booked he took out the box and said so you going to marry me or not LOL and handed me the box. It was cute. And even better his friends didnt even come home until Saturday. He proposed Friday night. Then on Sat he surprised me with a room at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. So we had a nice night in the city. And yesterday we did the polar bear plunge and then celebrated at our place w our parents. It was such a great weekend. Now I can finally start planning more. It was so nice to be able to finally tell people.

that;s awesome!! Congrats. I'm just curious, how far in advance did you book the RH? Wasn't sure how those things worked.. I just saw a 'Say yes to the dress' where the girl wasn't engaged but they knew they were going to marry eachother. SO her family and her boyfriend went with her to look for wedding dresses. When she found the want she was gonna get, he got down on one knee a proposed with a GORGEOUS ring!

We booked the RH a month ago yesterday. And only did due to his schedule, he was limited with days and didnt want to loose the date =)
