Well in the mail today came all the letters for me to sign to cancel the wedding. His (Mike's) parents did all the paperwork, and they have my wedding planner with all of the information. Mike and I still see each other, he sent me a text message from Florida last night telling me How much he missed me. I cant beleive my mistake, the whole two seconds of it has led to this. I didnt loose tons of money but I lost a man I thought I knew/loved. I know things could be worse and I dont want to waste another second of my life, not smiling, because you cannot get those seconds back. Mike loves me and I know thats the importance, its just a shame
I will look at you all next year with smiles all around, I am soo excited for all of you.

Awww...I'm so sorry to hear this. If there is anything you need, even just an ear, just always know that the 07 girls are here for you!! Hope you can figure out everything with Mike, whether it's to be married or be friends, and know that no matter what, you are the one you have to focus on and make sure that you are happy in the end. im so sry about what ur going through....i dont know much about ur situation but i can tell u from personal experience that if he really loves u and u really love him u can find a way to get through this... i have been through everything with my fh and weve been together for 10 years and its been crazy...i learned that it took something really bad to make what we had so much more.....u kno what the say if u let it go and it doesnt come back it was never urs in the first place....as for his parents u need to talk to him and see what he thinks.....and i hate to disagree with some girls but i personally would just say to hell with his parent and everybody and once everything is fixed i would just elope and not deal with the wedding b.s.....all u need is each other...good luck

Hang in there Kristen!!! Forget about weddings, right now that's not what's important......just figure out if your relationship w/ Mike is worth it in the long run for both of you.....maybe counseling would be good....once you get through that, then you know you can handle anything. You need some time for this to heal and then you can start fresh, whether it's with Mike or without him. Good luck to you!!

I'm so sorry Kristen I'm so confused to what is going on that I can't imagine what you must be going through. From what you posted your mind must be pulled in every direction. I hope it all works out for the two of you. Maybe calling off the wedding, for now, is a good idea. The wedding is the celebration but the marriage lasts a lifetime. I think we will see you on the 08 boards. Time heals all and I think in time everything will work out.
