Any ideas on what to do with my bouquet?? I vaguely remember reading somethng months ago about flower rosary beads....? anyone know anything about this?
Also, Do I just pack flutes and cake cutters away, never to be seen again?
Does anyone really eat there cake 1 year later???? we will be moving to texas in august and cant imagine taking it with us on a loooooong drive!
I guess I can get rid of a few things, ring bearer pillow, card box, stands used for frames and channa plaque.
thanks girls!!
and remember it really does go soooo fast. take it all in as much as you can and dont be afraid to tell photogs enough is enough with pics, we spent waaayyyy to much time taking pics. oh well. hope they turn out nice :D

Why don't you hang up your Channa plaque as a decoration in your bedroom or living room? That's what I plan to do with mine after the wedding. And as far as the toasting flutes, I'd imagine most people display them in a china cabinet... ? I am planning to save our top tier of our cake for our 1 year anniversary.... but moving to Texas kinda gives you an excuse not to do that haha BO-K preservation/rosary beads - http://www.myflowersforever.com/#!bellabeads

You could probably just sell the rest of the items if you don't want to keep it. I'm sure there are plenty of brides who would be interested

I thought that was the point of getting one! Yeah for the wedding table but then to have in the house! They are so pretty

Re: its over! What to do now with .....
for my bouquet, we followed the advice of my florist and sprayed it with hairspray and hung it upside down for a week (well, my mom said she sprayed it everyday for 2 weeks, and left it hanging upside for a month lol).
we were in the middle of moving, so once we were all settled, I took my bouquet back in put it in my china cabinet, along with the toasting flutes and serving set, LOVE letters, 2 leftover place card holders and our cards to each other on our wedding day. For our channa plaque, that's hanging up above our TV in our living room.
our wedding cake wasn't wrapped properly, and the venue left the fresh flowers on top of the cake, so by the time I was ready to take it from my mom's freezer and bring it to mine, it was covered in mold. We just threw it out.

Re: its over! What to do now with .....
I love this post. I was just thinking about that earlier. I think I wanna make something for our wall. I went to art school and I'm pretty creative. I'm thinking a large multi-media wall collage in a shadow box. There are so many things that I worked hard on DIY and I can't bring myself to throwing them away. Maybe you can research ideas like this. Even if it ends up hanging on a wall in your basement or spare room. I never regret when I take on little projects like this. It's the sentiment that really helps keep the memory alive. At least for me.
I know another bride did a time capsule and they plan on opening it every anniversary.

I made a shadow box...put in it our invitation, my headpiece, bubbles, our cake topper, and our program. We have it hanging in our hallway and it looks awesome! Maybe your can do something like that??
