ya almost 3 years ago and hes been trying ever since....he recently found out i was engaged from an old friend and has been trying harder now ....he would never do anything physical but its just annoying and immature

Oh man, please keep him at a distance! I'm really sorry you're going through this.
FH has a PSYCHO ex-gf, so I can sort of relate. Thankfully she no longer contacts him directly... but she still posts about him ALL THE TIME on her blog. She has NO idea he's engaged or anything as they haven't spoken in a very, very long time... However, she still feels the need to profess her love for him to the entire world on her blog (while she apparently also has a boyfriend...) I try not to read it, but check back periodically to see what she is publishing to the world about him.
There's something so very not right about that and it makes me uneasy. Same with what's happening to you, so please be careful!
