Its the little things ....

It's the sound of her voice, her hiccups, her laugh ...

the way her hand feels wrapped around my finger, the softness of her cheek, the way she curls up on me and falls fast asleep ...

the smell of her hair ...

the way she looks at me with smiles meant only for me ...

the way my heart skips when she leans toward me when she's hungry or needs comfort ...

Its the little things that I never expected that melt me every day & make me so thankful that she's come into our lives!

I just love being her mommy ... thanks for letting me share my mushy thoughts tonight!!

That is so sweet and so true. Who would have thought that a tiny little thing could bring you such joy and true happiness. They are the most amazing things in the world.
Although my son is older (almost 6 ) there's still new things to enjoy every day.

I also love when she first wakes up and opens her eyes and sees me and starts smiling that toothless gummy smile!!!

And when she's tired and I hold her, she grabs onto my neck and hair and just cuddles!!!

There's a list a million miles long and I love each and every one of them!!!

I LOVE when she gives me millions of kisses when I come into her room in the morning!

It's the way she can have a conversation all by herself- ONLY if I'm in the room

It's the way she puts her whole foot in her mouth when I'm changing her..

It's the way she's determined to do things 'all by herself' at this tender age

It's the way she looks across to room for me when she's in someone else's arms.

It's the way she smiles at me and just snuggles...

Camille, I'm right behind you!!!!! I just called up Nanny (Joe's grandmother, I don't have a real nanny ) to find out how she is and she said that she's sticking her tongue out!!!

It seems Nanny taught her how to do that and she was doing it to me and Joe last night -- it's the cutest thing, but I'm not so sure that was a good thing to teach her!!!

Gianna just discovered her feet and I love when she grabs for them when I'm changing her!! Then she sticks it in my face for me to kiss!!!! She has stinky feet like her daddy!!!

I LOVE when Im laying on the couch (to get my much needed rest lately ) and he walks over and goes 'MAH MEEE' and pats my head...
and then he goes 'MAH MEE Boo-GeeTH, NOTHE' and touches my nose
and then goes to my teeth and says 'Nee Nee' (Dentini is 'little teeth' in Italian) and my eyes and goes 'eyeTHHHH'
The little words he learns every day, leave me in awe at how fast they grow


I LOVE when he walks around the room, looking at me just kissing the air
as he looks at me

I LOVE when he sees me grab a diaper and RUNS the other way as he yells 'cah cah' and then out the window and says 'NOH ? ' (snow?) to distract me They are SOOO slick

I LOVE when Im on the phone, and he hears me say 'OK, so I'll talk to you later' He's already yelling 'BYE !!!!' 'BYE!!!' Whoever Im talking to gets a kick out of it! Also when someone is putting a jacket on to leave he does that, and they think he's kicking them out because he says it so many times
