So now that my dress is in and my hair trial will be coming up...I am feeling the intense need to purchase the veil.
So...I think I'm going to make use of my time off and head over to Barron's on Thursday. Help me think this out. I am thinking of a fingertip veil in ivory but not sure about details...help.

Re: It's time for the veil...
u won't be disappointed with barrons. i didn't like the fingertip veil since it looked so long. the girl there suggested the elbow length which i like so much better. for my height, the elbow length is better. since your taller than me, the fingertip one will look nice on u

Actually...maybe I should consider the elbow length...I like that idea better...especially with all the details I have on the dress...no need for such a long veil for me.

Re: It's time for the veil...
I got a cathedral and a fingertip. - The one thing the seamstress said re: elbow is that if you are on the shorter side, it cuts you - The fingertip makes you look a little 'longer' ........ I need all the help I can get to strecth me out !! Also, is there any way you can take a small swatch of your gown fabric ? to match everything up ?

I ordered a 2 tiered fingertip with a detachable cathedral. I got mine from Barrons as well and I was supposed to pick it up this weekend but I forgot lol

Hey Ang...just wanted to wish you luck... I thought I wanted a cathedral veil, but hated how it looked on me. And then I tried Fingertip, but wasnt happy either, Mine was created to me wrist length....like an inch and a half shorter then the fingertip. I did that bc my dress needs to be bustled, so figured if i kept the veil on its still visible...good luck

I think you should go with either an elbow or fingertip. Both will look great on you.
