First off--a big giant thank you to the girls who emailed me, called, etc. I'm not going to be able to get back to everyone but thank you for your good thoughts!
I've been hearing about other girls jumping ship and wanted to say, if you're still planning your wedding, etc. you should stay! This site is an invaluable resource and I've gotten lots of great ideas here!! I feel badly that my post might have set an example and caused other girls to abandon the boards as well.
If we all band together, maybe we can combat the negativity and 'drama'!
What do you all think? Can we move past all this and in the future, limit the craziness??
Again...as not to cause further issues here...I feel like I need to continuously stress this: my thoughts on all of this have not been brought on by an isolated incident or specific users. I've been on these boards for a loooooooooooong time and have seen many a nasty thread!

Wendy...everyone tugged at my heart strings!
But..I do want to add...I never post on the controversial threads either nor do I tend to read them. However, the latest incident was a little too harsh--no matter what the underlying situation was. I feel that such powerful and negative issues should be handled privately. The controversy seems to pop up in many threads--all the time. Ones that start out harmless, end up so destructive.
Another peep thread would be fantastic!

Leelee I posted on the same thread also, because it bothered me so much and I broke my own darn rule . I also believe personal issues should be handled between the pople involved privately.

I'm glad that you are staying.

I must admit i was thinking up some cool hazing rituals for the newbies and i was thinking about ordering a couple of hundred thousand peeps for the next bucket gtg for mushing purposes then i was going to give everyone warrior names and then i was going to get myself a kings crown and a sabre... wow the power really went to my head for a sec. i think chippa was right!!
