My sister had a one year anniversary party and we were like

It was nice. She had a small wedding so I do not know if that made up for the wedding or not.

I am with the others that say 30, 50 years but 1 year please.

I think it's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of! NO OFFENSE to anyone! I went to one a few years ago for my friend and all I brought was a bottle of wine... sorry, no reason to celebrate one year... pointless to me JMO

I would definatly go with a bottle of wine.

I think that is so odd.

Ditto on the wine suggestion. If you want to be even nicer, you can throw some glasses in as well.

I have been on LI weddings for a year (a little over actually) so I am having a belated one year anniversary party for myself, you are all invited

A nice bottle of wine it is!!! Thanks ladies.

It's not a formal party per say. It is being held at her parent's HUGE home out east.

Lisa Rose ~ i dont know if thers any significance... its just like a small celebration .. a little bit more than having a yearly birthday party it's never as lavish as the wedding, and you do give gifts but something small. not everyone does it .. but when people do it's usually just a small party.
