I've gotten so many FMs about Here Comes the Bride Alternatives, so......UPDATE WITH MORE

here's a VERY short list. This is off the top of my head, so I will continue to pick my brain and add to it. I will say this, though: Look for music from the Baroque time period. Composers like Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, etc. The reason being is that they thought back then that music had the power to alter the state of your soul, and so they would write music with one feeling in mind so that it would not confuse your soul. Because of this, you will find a lot of emotion in these songs. I would venture to say a good 40-50% of all popular wedding songs are from the time period. Not that other music isn't emotional, but something like Beethoven is a little too heavy, whereas something like Mozart is sometimes too light for the occasion. Ok, sorry to bore you! HAHA. If you go to barnes and nobles website, you can hear clips of all these songs. Hope this helps!

Also, Trumpet Voluntary (one by Clarke, one by Purcell) and Canon in D are popular alternatives.
