I've had it!!!!- UPDATE
I email, call, leave messages and NEVER hear back from patken!
I left several messages and emails about 2 months ago asking WHO's my photographer and the balance and payment.... i finally happened to luck out and call when someone was next to the phone and decided to pick up.![]()
I had gotten emails saying 'we're out of the office, we'll get back to you' or 'sorry we're very busy' .... okay I get it, you're not in that often... but like W T F?? from what I've gathered, there are very few brides on here that are unhappy with their services... why is it I have to fall into that small percent that is regretting my decision.
Now I called on monday to set up an appt with my photographer (this is the SECOND time I've called about this)... I'm told she'll call me back in a day or two... um its been four days and this is the second time I've been passed over like this.
nobody's heard of 'nicole'... is she even real!?
the ONLY time anyone from patken calls me is to tell me 'we need money by this date'...
they NEVER called to let me know WHO my photog was, FH had to call and ask if our STDs were ready...
I just don't like this kind of service- AT ALL!
I'm going to call ONE more time. and if I get the run around again..... I think I might eat the deposit and find someone else... a friend of mine owns a production company, she offered to do my wedding so i might just take her up on that offer.

so Vinny just called me. he said he got my email, and is in the middle of a wedding right now, but he stepped to the side to ease my nerves. he said this is the first message he's gotten.. but he's going to call nicole and have her call me today then he's going to call me tuesday so he can show me her work as she's out a lot.
he made me feel better, but at the same time... i'm still a little -eh- on everything. it took a 'rude' email on my part to get their attention.. i don't think it should resort to that.. AND i actually requested vinny for my wedding and would have been much happier with him. but i was put with nicole- i really just want to meet HER and see if there is any sort of bond. i honestly feel that there has to be a bond there or else it just won't work.
but yea.. so thats where i'm at now.
