My vacuum broke today. It ***** anyhow. Tomorrow I'm buying a Dyson. I think it will change my life forever.

my parents just bought a dyson the purple one i think its the animal... and honestly i dont like it - esp for animal hair. I have 2 dogs with long hair and the hair gets wrapped around the wheel and ihave to cut it off, also all the dirt gets stuck inside the canister at the top around the filter and i have to either take it apart to get it out, or reach my hand in.
it also has the stretch hose and i find it really annoying to use. you have to pull the long stick out and then dettach it from thr vacuum to use to pick up dirt, its a tight hose and you litterally drag the rest of the vaccum with you trying to stretch out the hose.
it picks up the dirt ok but i dont find it to be the most convienent vacuum

we actually did register for a dyson ... and we got it at our engagement party! my aunt & cousins got it for us, they chipped in.
the thing is ... you never know when people want to chip in for something cool like that, and if you don't have it on your registry you probably won't get it.
also, there's always the completion discount after the wedding ... so you can get it afterwards if you still want it.
we love ours, its one of the few things we actually are using now (saving the rest of the stuff until we buy a house)

Congrats. I just bought a new vacuum. Havent even opened it yet and now i'm wondering if i should exchange it for the dyson. hmm...

do you know that on thursday when the w/d got delivered we went out to dinner (since it was our b-day) and then i came home and did a load of jeans and sat on the floor watching my clothes go in circles it was facinating to me
