I've officially been a NON SMOKER for 24 DAYS!

Or is it 25? I dont remember....

Thank you to all of you that gave me the support and encouragement!

For those of you that are thinking of quitting, if I did it, you can too. And honestly, I dont even think about it too much anymore. It's getting easier and easier!

For me, I happened to run out of cigs one night and said eff it, I'm done. I had NO cash on me and wasnt DRIVING to the store to buy a pack on my credit card (yes my credit card).

I've saved so much since I quit and I can breathe in the morning. Not even exaggerating.

The first 2 weeks S U C K E D. But I got through it. You can do it!!!!! I was pretty much smoking close to a pack per day and I havent gained weight either!

That is great! I know how hard it is in the beginning but I'm over 2½ years non-smoking now and I don't even think about it any more!

But the only thing that kinda s u c ks is the gum chewing. It hurts my jaws a little but who cares? I would rather have a painful jaw than have my lungs all screwy.

For those of you still 'thinking' about quitting...My FH just got a phone call today...his Aunt has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung cancer (there's only 4 stages.....). She's only in her mid 50's ...& Yes, a smoker.
