I have been looking for a dress for almost two months. Ive been everywhere. I cant find anything I can see myself getting married in and I now have eight months. I am buying the next dress I put on and will just be sure to get pretty BM dresses so I can look at them all night.

I dont care about designer but alot of maggies, how the concept of what I like. I am not a huge satin fan, prefer tafetta or organza. I want corset back Kick pleat on the side ( look at maggie's Krisha to get an idea of what i mean) I like lace
DO NOT WANT pick-ups, (which most of maggie dresses have) im too short a plain train, needs either a lace underlay or detail work on it. doesnt have to be covered, but not plain.
Have you checked the Jasmine line? The one thing I loved about them (my second choice for a gown) was that you can mix and match their gowns. So if you like the top from one, and the bottom from another, you can have them made to do that.

Christine is RIGHT!!!! I went to sooooo many places....it got to the point of me crying when I was putting on gowns because I hated everything I tried on...me and my mother would argue in the store...it ended up being a horrible experience....UNTIL...I went to the last place (Valentina's Bridal) and I found a dress that I loved. I would suggest going there...the dressmaker will make you a custom dress that wont cost you a fortune either...Hang in there you will find somthing

That is how I felt I spent from Jan-April looking for my dress and nothing felt right. I was going to have my dress made by Valentina's in Bk but I found the dress at Marc Ingram.
You still have time,dont worry
Also I felt that everyone gets emotional when they try on dresses and i didnt. My sales ast. said it perfectly,'are you an emotional person' and I am def not, that is the reason why you arent all choked up like some brides.
I mean everywhere I went I saw all these girls and mothers sobbing and tissues everywhere and here I am with my mom and sister saying yea this is the one ok!

So frustrating. I did email Jasmine though to see if they could later a dress to my liking... never heard of that. Hopefully I hear soon.

you can alter and customize dresses by private label by g. check the website. they talk about it. good luck!! and i would def recommend RK just cuz the selection is soooo big!

Have you gone to a store and said, this is the type of dress i'm looking for.... we did that for my friends wedding and the lady brought other dresses that were similar in some aspects, but not at all what we envisioned and what do you know, our least favorite dress on the rack was 'the one' for my friend!
Have you tried Alfred Angelo? He has a lot of corset back dresses... (and button down back dresses if you like that as well)
definitely don't give up... have you tried on any dresses with certain details that you know you like? maybe take pics of these dresses and have a gown made for you with only the parts that you like.
