I didn't realize how non-white my dress was until I put on my white veil. FH was originally in a white shirt with white vest, but I think we need to change it to ivory/ivory. What did everyone else do?

the guys are wearing ivory shirts and black vests, FH will wear ivory on ivory. my dress is definitely a darker shade of ivory so there is no way we could get away with going with a white shirt.

My dress is soft white - FH is wearing a white shirt, black vest & blue tie. If you have a swatch of your dress I would take it with you when looking at the ivory shirts. The ones at mens wearhouse were a yellowish ivory and wouldn't have matched my dress at all.

I had an ivory gown. I wanted dh to wear an ivory shirt vest and tie to match my gown. he hatedddddddddd that idea so much. he wanted to wear all white. thank god for wedding shows because while watching one i saw a guy wearing a white shirt with a ivory tie and vest. i had dh watch it and he loved the way it looked.
