I found a fab pair of shoes online for 50% less than they sell in stores but they are white satin and my dress is ivory duchess silk satin. So should I have then dyed or just wear the white shoes???
What color shoes are you ivory brides wearing? I am thinking I need to dye them as my veil is ivory too so they might stick out badly.

my dress is 'natural' (raw silk, really like a diamond white) and my shoes are white --> pix in album. I don't think its THAT different, but I will probably still have them dyed to match exactly because I'm anal. I'm going to dye them again after the wedding

Ivory shoes. I bought a pair of Ivory Manolos at Gabays (great price) and I'm having them dyed at Shoe Service Plus on 55th street between 5th and 6th. My friend had an ivory dress and she wore white shoes and they kinda looked off.

Love the idea of blue shoes but feel it wouldn't match my color theme. Love the idea of gold shoes (as it's one of my colors) but my dress has silver beading so that won't work either.

I'm doing Ivory shoes. I was actually thinking of blue like Espo (my dress is actually Ivory with Navy accents) but went with the Ivory.

Don't know how adventurous you are but there's always leopard print! Another bride on here did that (Kitty something - can't believe I forgot cuz she's one of my faves) and they looked FABULOUS!

I think u can wear silver shoe, b/c alot of ivory dresses look white, it's only when u put a white dress next to ivory is when u can really tell. I am planning on wearing Hot Pink shoes like my BM, but in a different style b/c it's my favorite color.

yeah sorry wasnt trying to suggest blue just said what i was doing hahaha. I am doing the blue shoes as my something blue. My color theme is chocolate brown/blue/taupe with accents of ivory but even before i picked the color scheme i said i wanted blue shoes.
To answer the post as to your shoes, i would say get an ivory if you are worried of there being a difference of color between the ivory dress and white shoes. Many places will dye it for you

I'm wearing ivory shoes with my ivory dress. If the shoes you want are dyeable anyway, I would see how they look next to your dress before deciding if the dying is necessary.
