I dont know! I have the same issue! I might do a soft peach so theres a little bit of a contrast, b/c I dont want my dress to look 'dirty', you know what i mean?

If I were you and I wanted white flowers, I'd definitely throw in some ivory or cream flowers to balance everything out...

thanks girls i'm just concerned that my dress will look dirty ya know??? but if i put ivory roses in with the white/pink gerberas that would make it work! thanks girls
Also what color tux shirts are you doing white or ivory?? im thinking i prob have to go with ivory

I was thinking about the same thing. I am in the same vote...I Am actually think of doing a color....Maybe Orange....The BM's dresses are champagne and I need something to stick out....

i may be in luck!!!! i think the lace on my dress may be white? looking at pics the dress almost looks 2 toned.. but i think as long as i put some ivory roses in with the white flowers im ok! thanks girls!

Of course you can. Most whites aren't really even that white anyway unless you do orchids.

yeah at the tux shop the girl asked me what color my dress was and said to fh that he has to get ivory
as far as the flowers wow didn't think of that until you mentioned it before but i guess get cream colored flowers

My dress is white but its not really white, its kinda off white and i am getting white flowers, and all my girls will have white flowers as well. I think it will look nice

my dress is ivory so my flowers are cream and blush roses, stephinotis (which is white) and blue delphinium (girls dresses are blue) so they will not be too white and they guys will have ivory tux shirts

I think ivory with white or ivory flowers would be very beautiful. I know I've seen some photos of brides on here with them. Maybe check out some of the 07'ers photos?

Also many times an ivory gown can actually look white because it's so new and clean on the day of the wedding. The samples we all try on in boutiques are aged merely by hanging on the rack for months so are much more yellow than our new ivory dresses will be. Do you have a swatch of your dress you can take to your florist?

I did it! AND white shoes too...i totally forgot about dying them. It's such a small difference..no one will notice. I actually preferred it that way because then the bouquet doesn't blend as much into the dress...if that makes any sense.
And the tux people also told my DH to do ivory tux stuff...but he didn't like it and did a white shirt with a grey vest/tie. Again...it's something that no one will notice!
Ivory dress...white bouquet and DH's white shirt! Especially if you're taking pics when it's bright out....the glare from the sun will make your dress seem whiter than it is.
