Who is planning or got married in an ivory gown?? is it really that bad to get married in ivory?? The dress that i LOVE looks sooo much better in ivory than white.
My dress is ivory. I was going back and forth but, mine definitely looks better in ivory, so I'm happy with my choice. In pictures, you can't even tell unless you are next to something white.
My dress is ivory, purely by accident actually. I was thinking white but then they only had my gown in ivory and now I think it's perfect for me. I don't think it's bad at all. You just have to make sure it's not gonna prevent you from having the colors you want (like magenta BM dresses might not go well with ivory).
my dress is like a champagne color - nothing wrong with ivory - some dresses look perfect in it! :)
I honeslty have not made up my mind yet. I think i am going to try on dresses in both and just see what suits me better, but I have always dreamed of an ivory gown. But we shall see
mine is ivory.. and I LOVE It. when i went for my fitting, there was a girl doing a fitting with the same dress in white.. I Am soooo happy I chose ivory. ..her dress was so BRIGHT.
my dress is ivory. the white was just too bright and harsh IMO.

I am pale, and have blonde hair, so ivory was the choice for me. If I had a darker complexion, or darker hair, I would have chose white...it all depends on what looks best on you and how you feel....Good Luck!

i wanted super stark white and thought every dress i saw looked yellow. the dress i fell in love with was raw silk, which doesnt come in a stark white. my dress was 'natural' (like a diamond white) and in the end it's probably for the best because i'm pale and it is more flattering on my skin tone and a richer color

My dress came in ivory, white and GOLD - I had my heart set on GOLD cause that's the one the store had, but then I went to another store and tried it in white and was like, Ahhh... How many times am I going to wear the quintessential white dress in my life? I say go with what you feel beautiful in. My GOLD dress was amazing, but when I put the white on, it just felt right
I wore ivory. I had originally ordered white, but the store lost my dress and I got the same model in ivory. I won't go so far as to say it was a blessing, but the ivory probably looked better with my skin tone. Wear what makes you look and feel best.

My dress is ivory, but it's such a light ivory you couldn't tell, even comparing the two swatches. The type of dress mine is looked so rich in ivory, that I think if I actually did see it in white it would have looked a bit cheesy in comparison.
mine is actually a deep ivory (cant be mistaken for white) and i preferred that color... i think whatever looks best with your skintone is what you should get
It's really important to me that I wear a pure white gown on my wedding day. But there's nothing wrong with Ivory. My bestfriend just got married in ivory because white just didn't look right with her complexion.
I'm doing white, but I tried on ivory....& if you didn't tell me I thought it looked white.....I think they as so close....it's a personal pref.....I just wanted my beading to stand out as much as possible.
mine was ivory/off white/antique white. Im not sure which. But it wasn't white. I think its def fine to wear ivory if thats what looks better on you! LOTS of people wear ivory!
