Who is planning or got married in an ivory gown?? is it really that bad to get married in ivory?? The dress that i LOVE looks sooo much better in ivory than white.

I wore ivory and you honestly cant tell the difference unless youre standing someone in white
My wedding gown was ivory, and every wedding that I've been to the bride has also worn ivory. I don't see how it is 'bad' at all....it's your wedding gown and you should get it in any color that you like.

My dress came in ivory, white and GOLD - I had my heart set on GOLD cause that's the one the store had, but then I went to another store and tried it in white and was like, Ahhh... How many times am I going to wear the quintessential white dress in my life? I say go with what you feel beautiful in. My GOLD dress was amazing, but when I put the white on, it just felt right

my dress came in ivory and that's what i tried on and loved it but my mom convinced me to get it in white and I regret it because it looked much nicer in ivory. Go with what makes you happy! You can throw tradition out the window. I wish I did, I would have been happier with my first pick

I personally think Ivory is much more flattering on most skin types. JMO. I say, go for it!

I have Diamond White is in between Ivory and White. It depends on your skin tone and hair color.... if you are pale/redhead say I'd definitely get ivory.... but if you have more of an olive tone and dark hair you can probably get away with the white!

My dress is Ivory. I think you should go with what you like better. The problem with ivory is that there are many different shades and if you need to match up the flower girls and accessories it is easier if everything is true white. I would go with whatever looks best with your skin tone

My dress is ivory. Noy only does it look better in ivory i look better in it! lol I seem to get lost in white, My dad was a little upset when i told him it wasnt white but u realy cant tell what from ivory in most dresses anyway... Go with waht u want

i wanted super stark white and thought every dress i saw looked yellow. the dress i fell in love with was raw silk, which doesnt come in a stark white. my dress was 'natural' (like a diamond white) and in the end it's probably for the best because i'm pale and it is more flattering on my skin tone and a richer color

I got ivory.. I liked it so much better than the bright white, and honestly you cant tell its ivory until its up against something white.
