Ivory or White

I am thinking about doing an ivory gown, I love the way it looks. I am planning on having Red BM dresses. Do you think they will go ok? is anyone else planning on having Ivory? what color is everyone having there BM wear?

yes, my dress is ivory and my bridesmaids will be wearing red too! i think it will look stunning!

My dress is ivory also, but my MOH is going to be in either burgundy or wine and my Jr. Bridesmaid a pink to match. If you do a search you will see a thread I started a few weeks ago with this topic and a lot of responses.

Me too! I'm wearing Ivory and my BMs are wearing Red...I think it's going to look gorgeous!!!!

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, IVORY OR WHITE. BUT I DECIDED TO GO W/ WHITE. HEY WHEN ELSE CAN U WEAR A PUFFY WHIT DRESS AND NOT LOOK LIKE A ICE CREAM CONE...LOL. IT IS ALL PREFRENCE. BUT BE CAREFUL BC SOME IVORYS LOOK YELLOW. BUT WHAT EVER YOU WEAR WEAR IT IN GOOD HEALTH AND IM SURE YOU WILL LOOK BEAUTIFUL.

Those who are or did wear ivory, what color shirts did the groom and GM wear? Does white look bad with ivory? All the ivory gowns I tried on were much darker than white and definitely not close enough to be mistaken for white.

I think that if you're getting an ivory gown, then the guys' shirts should be ivory or off-white as well. I wound up wearing a soft white gown because it looked good with my skin color, but there are a lot of brides that do wear ivory because white washes them out. My BMs also wore red. I think ivory and red makes a great combination.
