Ivory vs. White

Someone told me that Ivory looks better in Pictures than white. Is this true?

i cant imagine that is true. I chose ivory b/c my wedding is in the fall. I think white is striking for a spring/summer wedding. I wonder why that would be said - if anythign I would think ivory would be duller in pictures.

I woula say they both look fine in photos...What's more important is which color looks better on you!

I think it all depends on you and your skin tone...both look great in pics depending on the person.

Both look great in pictures. You would choose one over the other because of your skin tone. I'm very fair so I wanted Ivory because it was more complimentary to my skin.

I agree. I will be getting Diamond White (somewhere between white and ivory) because the white makes me look washed out!

It all depends on your skin tone.....try on both and see which looks better on you

I dont know about picture wise but I found out after trying on 10 dresses that white was not my color. I tried on 1 ivory dress and fell in love.

Everyone told me that ivory dresses look so much better on me then white. I get pretty tan in the summer, and when I tried on dresses ,the ivory dress brought the tan out better then white.

I am choosing ivory b/c my skin is very fair, so white looks awful on me. In addition, I am getting married in the Fall, so it just works better for me.

I doubt one looks better in photos than the other. it comes down to a matter of preference.

I agree. I went with ivory because it looked good with my complexion and the difference between ivory and white seemed so subtle.
