My dress is ivory, not white. Should my FH shirt be white, or ivory?
Also...there is no bridal party. Just a best man and father of the bride. If the Groom wears an ivory shirt, should they also wear ivory shirts?
Or, should everyone just stick with white? But will white look bad with my ivory dress?
If you are wearing ivory....please tell me what your man and his clan are wearing!!!

I'm wearing an ivory dress. I have a swatch of my dress so I plan on going with my FH when he picks out his tux to make sure that the swatch matches his shirt.

I am wearing an Ivory dress also and the woman who helped me told me absolutley no ifs ands or buts he has to wear an ivory shirt or the pictures were gonna come out wierd!
I am wearing an ivory dress and never even thought about this! I will have to make sure to tell FH to get an ivory shirt too!!!

My dress was in Ivory and my DH shirt was Ivory. The groomsmen in your wedding should wear white shirts. The groomsmen in my wedding shirts were gray to match my girls dresses.

My dress is 'diamond white' but it's closer to ivory. FH is going to be wearing white.

I have an Ivory dress, and darren will be wearing an Ivory shirt as well. The boys will most likely be wearing Sage shirts with Ivory ties. The contrast looks awsome!

Im wearing a color between white and ivory.. not as dark as ivory but not as bright as white...
BMs and GM will be wearing brown dresses/vests & ties
FH will wear a white shirt with ivory vest & tie.

Im an ivory bride and I was told that NOTHING at the wedding should be white. The reason is that anything that is white will make your dress obviously not white. My guys shirts, linens, chair cushions, EVERYTHING is ivory.

I'm wearing ivory & my bridal salon told me that the guys should all wear Ivory shirts not white. She told me to take a swatch with me when they order the tuxes, so that's what i'm going to do.

My dress is ivory and I haven't even thought about the guys yet. Now that I am thinking about it you girls are absolutely right -Ivory instead of white is better for the guys! I will definitely be doing that.
I am glad that you brought this up the last thing I need is my pics to be off for a freaking shirt color. I have to get a swatch of my dress to carry around in my book of stuff!

It never even occurred to me.... my dress is a true ivory, perhaps even darker than what other designer's call ivory. I think I'll go on the knot and look-up real weddings and try to find white shirt / ivory dress pix.
How bad could it really look
