sooo... i found the dress.. i NEVER thought it would be ivory though.. I still love love love the dress but it only comes in ivory and I never thought i would wear ivory on my wedding day.. i was pretty dead set on white until i saw this dress.. anyone else have the same problem??

I thought the exact same way but I ordered my dress and guess what its IVORY! LOL It a pale ivory so it can totally pass for white and it doesn't wash my pale skin out. I noticed alot of salon pushed the ivory over white.
If you love it, get it!! HTH

Every dress I tried on was white and I liked them but didn't love them. Then I tried on MY dress and they only had a sample in ivory and I absolutely fell in love as soon as I looked in the mirror.

Same exact problem - in fact, I have actualy delayed my ordering for about a month because I still can't decide whether I want the white or the ivory.

mine is ivory and you really cant tell. My sisters dress was ivory and it looks really nice in pictures.

When I started dress shopping, I always envisioned myself in white. That is, until I tried a white dress on. It looked horrible on me! I tried on ivory and it's gorgeous. It suits my skin tone much better.

I think Ivory tends to flatter more skin tones than white. Personally, I feel like white washes out a lot of girls. Mine is ivory, and it sort of gives me a Belle from Beauty and the Beast vibe even though it looks nothing like that gold dress really. haha

I have always wanted a white dress, but when i tried on my dress (which is alabaster) i fell in love and have absolutely no problems. They actually made the dress in white and i chose not to once i saw how i loved the color with my skin tone..

thanks guys.. i'm just generally not an anal person and i fel like i'm obsessing over this dress..
My dress is definately ivory and I love it. In white i looked horrible..even in dresses I loved in ivory...I tried on the same exact dress in white and OH NO! Looked so bad againest my skin. Personally I think that darker skinned girls, even the slightest bit tan look great in white but I would need to go tanning like 3 times a week to look good in white.
Whatever looks best on you ...go for it!

Mine is Ivory. my colors are White and Navy so it threw that off. The guys have to wear Ivory shirts which I dont like and I had a very hard time finding ivory flower girl dresses in the sizes i needed. But I do love my dress so its worth it.

I just assumed I'd get white because it's a wedding. I tried on my sample, thinking it WAS white, and fell in love. When the salesgirl told me it was ivory, I was disappointed because I wanted white. Since the dress came in white also, I tried on a white dress and guess what? Didn't like it as much as I liked the ivory! The color difference is VERY minimal but something about the ivory just looks better! :)

Honestly, I think ivory looks white until you put it next to something that is actually white. And let's be honest ... there better not be anyone else wearing white at ANY of our weddings!!!

I actually went out dress shopping looking for Ivory. With my skin tone pearly white does not look as good as Ivory on me. Love the dress you posted, it's beautiful.
