Ivory Wedding dresses....

How many girls are doing Ivory over white??
I am doing Ivory because The white was WAY too white.. I have olive skin and in the summer I get very Dark & I just liked the way it looked better.. But FH & FMIL made a little bit of a face and when I told them I ordered dress in Ivory.

I have ivory as well. I just didn't like the way White White dress looked on me. I guess it's my skintone as well!!! Don't worry about it. As long as you like the color on you, that's all that matters. Besides, it's hard to tell the difference between white and ivory if you don't put the dress next to each other.

I am very fair and don't tan well so the WHITE white washed me out completely...

I'm doing ivory...i was totally washed out in white...FH made the same face, he just wanted to make sure the dress didn't look 'dirty' I made him feel better when I told him that I looked much better in the ivory, and it does not look 'dirty'. I think he's thinking of 1980's dresses here...

First, I love the that dress on you it looks great.

I am wearing what they call diamond white. It's not white, it's more like an off white, but it's not ivory either.

I like you am olive skinned (being a fellow Calabrese . My dress is ivory and actually has a light gold lace overlay.

im wearing diamond white which is a little less bright. i agree with the white looking too WHITE sometimes. i dont think anyone would even really notice.....it will look beautiful!

My Dress is Ivory. It looked better in Ivory, and didn't make me look like Casper! (my friends call me the whitest Puerto Rican they know! LOL!)

Plus, like the other other bride, I should not be wearing white either! LOL!

I'm doing all of my accessories, ring pillow, etc. in Ivory too. This way, you won't be able to tell the dress is not white since there will be nothing white to compare it to!
