How many girls are doing Ivory over white?? I am doing Ivory because The white was WAY too white.. I have olive skin and in the summer I get very Dark & I just liked the way it looked better.. But FH & FMIL made a little bit of a face and when I told them I ordered dress in Ivory.

i ordered ivory/off white whatever you want to call it... i don't like the bright white gowns. I think ivory is richer looking.

Same here. I was surprised when I found out the sample of my dress was ivory - it looks like a softer white.

I will be wearing IVORY as well, looks much better on me than white. BTW you look beautiful in that dress girl

My dress is ivory with a hint of blush (very very faint, you can only see it in certain lights). I wasn't sure about the blush at first but the designer sent me samples of the ivory & the white, and I decided on the ivory/blush b/c it was so different!
Since this is my second wedding I may even wear platnum! White is not an option for me. By the way- You look beautiful!

Since you are wearing an Ivory dress, will you ring pillo, flower girl basket and other accessories be Ivory as well? I'm not sure if I will do white, or Ivory for those items. What are you planning to do?

My ring pillow, and the flower girl baskets are going to be an off white, only b/c mym mom's making them from her wedding dress, and it's a little off white now.

Thinking about this now I am wondering if picutres will look funny. Will my FH and the groomsmen need to wear off white as well to prevent my gown from looking dingey?
