Ivory/ White question

Ivory/ White question

I ordered FG dresses on Sat from a booth in Tri-County. I orderd white. My dress is diamond white. My sister thinks ivory would have been better because white might make my dress look dirty....

Thoughts?

id probably agree. my dress is diamond white and i was trying on veils. you can get away with ivory but definitely not white.

im not sure your dress would look dirty but i think it would be noticeable difference if they are right in front of you.

I was told by our tux guy that there is a huge difference. He made me get our tux shirts in the same shade of my dress b/c he said the dress could look dirty. He said the same about flowers. I'm not sure how true this is or if people would notice, but it's not something unheard of.

it totally depends. my dress is diamond white. i bought the FG dress in ivory bc the white was sooo white. but i bought my shoes in white bc the ivory was sooo ivory.

not sure if this makes sense, but the only safe way is to hold up the FG dress with a swatch from your dress.

Diamond white is closer to white then Ivory. At least for my dress it is and I have Diamon white. So I would go with white.

I think I would stick with the white

I got white for everything, I'm wearing diamond white but in my opinion it's pretty close to white white. Flower girl dresses and tux shirts will be white.

my FG dresses are white and my dress is a very light ivory - I don't think you have to worry about it! My FH shirt is going to be ivory.
