J-LO at L.I.Jewish Hospital????

This is unsubstantiated at this point, but we are hearing that Jennifer Lopez may be giving birth to her twins at a hospital in Long Island, NY, today.

yeah my Nana had her heart surgery in LIJ in NHP. And they took such great care of her and everything.

But I get what you are saying Northshore is nicer. But I think both have such wonderful doctors in it.

OMG JLO lives in Upper Brookville???? I had no idea....i'm going to live like a mile away from her!!! hahahaha FH is going to be so excited he gets so star struck

if you think LIJ in NHP is ghetto, you need to go to some City runhospitals in the city or in the boroughs...LIJ is luxury compared to city hospitals. aNY TYPE of hospital like that is going to be better, well i ll say look better not that theres better people working there

My cousin works there, and from what I know it's a great hospital. I know his department is far ahead of many other hospitals in the tri-state area (except for StonyBrook). Plus I'm not sure what part of NHP you're referring to, but the area where the hospital is located is NOT ghetto.

Its not ghetto but you know how u feel about ur hometown sometimes...its like a place i would never want to go back to!

Its not ghetto but you know how u feel about ur hometown sometimes...its like a place i would never want to go back to!

there is definatly some trash there but i wouldn't call it the ghetto.. i lived in NHP but the queens side ( yes NHP has 2 blocks that are in queens ) lol i lived there pretty much my whole life we moved to bethpage when i was 15 1/2. you probobly know alot of people i used to hang out with if u went to NHP memorial

My friend works in the labor & delivery unit at LIJ. She is at work now I am waiting to hear from her & see what she says. I do recall her telling me that JLO was scheduled to give birth at LIJ but at North Shore LIJ in Manhasset. There are two LIJ's in that area one in New Hyde Park which is considered Long Island Jewish and the one in Mnahasset is considered Northshore LIJ. I am waiting for her to call me back and see whats she says. She is a RN in the labor & delivery unit.

Yea i was shocked reading this, cause i just found it hard to believe that JLO would give birth at LIJ, when Northshore in Manhasset it 10 million times better.

overall northshore is a better hospital but LIJ has a better L&D Unit

i work at lij...havent seen the L&D unit, but i don't think i would want to give birth there (JMO). She's probably giving birth in northshore manhassat.

I think it's preference. All my friends who have delivered favor winthrop over lij. I am just surprised J-lo isn't having a state of the art hospital built just for her
