This is unsubstantiated at this point, but we are hearing that Jennifer Lopez may be giving birth to her twins at a hospital in Long Island, NY, today.

My friend got back to me and said she is not at her hospital which is Long Island Jewish in New Hyde PArk. Maybe she is at Northshore LIJ.

Yeah she is at Northshore. My friend told me the same thinh that they built her a special suite to give birth.

I have to agree with you -- NHP is not the ghetto.

Also my FH knows if i ever have to go to the hospital to take me only to north shore, or winthrop is my 2nd choice, i took my FH to LIJ once and never again,
I also grew up in NHP, lol so i know all about it

I get what you mean. You should mention you grew up there that way people wouldnt think youre just putting it down. I was raised in bad parts of Brooklyn and Queens and I always call them Ghetto.

You think that's true? My dad's company is the main contractors for NYHQ(new york hospital queens, the old booth memorial hospital) and they've had celebrities there before and he's never told me anything like that. I mean, he would have built the rooms himself if they did. And I know there a few special rooms for VIPS, but nothing like that. What would they do with the room afterwards?

I mean I cant bet my life on what i read is true, but North Shore Hospital is an extremely wealthy hospital, and its possible JLO paid for these renonvations before hand.

What makes me believe it is, JLO has alot of money, more than most celebs, so i wouldnt be surprised if she did have them build her a whole suite complete with all the comforts she is used to.

She lives her life very different then the rest of the population

yeah is true a friend that works there told me that they knocked down 4 rooms from the labor and delivery floors to make her 1 big room and that she is paying for it. but she is scheduled for C-section on march/april. So i dont know why people are saying today. Unless she is going for observation today or going under contractions to deliver early who knows. Twins usually come a bit early.

WHOA....I did my clinical rotation for obgyn at LIJ and LOVED it and since then have vowed to give birth to all of my children there, it is NOT ghetto, although we all are entitled to our own opinions...

she probably is, it can be confusing. We had to see a friend recently who had her baby there and of course he says LIJ, so we go to new hyde park first and after running all over the place, we got a call and found out it was in manhasset.

if you think LIJ in NHP is ghetto, you need to go to some City runhospitals in the city or in the boroughs...LIJ is luxury compared to city hospitals. aNY TYPE of hospital like that is going to be better, well i ll say look better not that theres better people working there
