Has anyone ever been to Jackson Hole Wyoming? I think DH and I want to plan a trip for next spring..

I've never been there, but my boss who travels all the time for business went there for a meeting a few months ago & he loved it, he said that he's planning on going back with his wife & sons because he thought it was so beautiful there - and that says alot, since he's been to so many places.

I've been there - about 7 years ago (on a private jet, no less - heh heh....) Anyway, it IS beautiful. I stayed at The Rusty Parrot . LOVED it! The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. You have to check it out. I also went to the Million Dollar Cowboy bar where the bar stools are real saddles Then did some shopping, and that's pretty much it. I wasn't there for too long - 2 days I think. The only bad part was that the altitude killed me! I could barely walk up a flight of stairs without gasping for air. (And I'm a gym rat too!)

i've been there to go skiing - definetly a guys town - and expect girls not to want to ski and shop - all stores closed by 5 - but nice shops in town

great skiing-
we were witha big group so we rented a house on the mountain - so ican't help much on housing
one fun thing we did was go snowmobiling in yellowstone - lots of fun - lot less people there in winter and march
