Just came across a LIW Vendor who does airbrush makeup and comes to you the day of...her name is Jacqueline from I Make Up You. Anyone on here use her and if so is she good?
Also - do you all recommend airbrush makeup? I don't know much about it...just that it's light and feels like you're wearing nothing which sounds fabulous. I don't wear a lot of makeup...just blush and mascara and lip gloss....I HATE the feeling of foundation caked on my face so I'm thinking airbrush is the way to go.....any info is appreciated! Any pics too would be great. THANKS!

Re: Jacqueline from I Make Up You...anyone use her?
I had an airbrush trial. Not with her though, I used Jacqueline Nicole, who is also a vendor on here.
I really liked the airbrush. It felt very light and looked natural. I think it is a matter of preference but I happen to prefer the airbrush.
You should get a trial and if you are unsure what you will like better, do ½ your face in traditional makeup and the other in airbrush. This way you can see the results side by side.

Re: Jacqueline from I Make Up You...anyone use her?
I have had trials with both but have not worn airbrushed for longer than a few hours, and never at a long event...but I learned some interesting info about it...It is silicone. People love it because it covers everything, but if you have good skin, it could look a little strange. Lots of people think that it is great in pictures and while it is, I found very little difference between the two ON ME in pictures. I did think it looked freaky on me up close. I also found that my face was a little itchy a little after I had it on. It does last forever, but it was not right for me..
I think it is a personal thing, and it depends on your needs. Try it with someone, and decide how you feel about it.

Hi, I had a trial with her, but I ended up going with someone else. I had her do the airbrush makeup, but IMO it just was too much & it caked up. But I think that was partly my fault because my face was a wreck that day (Pms) & I'm sure she would've done it again if I asked her to.
If it's airbrushing that you want though, I know there are plenty of other MU artists that do that. But no matter who you go to, just make sure you're clear about what kind of look you want. And don' t worry, they won't be insulted if you ask them to do it again. That's what the trials are for. Good luck!

Ew that actually sounds really gross...silicone! Yuck! I had no idea. I will definitely get a trial both ways and see what I think...thanks girls!

I've only had a trial without the airbrush makeup. My makeup stayed on a long time and didn't feel heavy or caked on at all. I don't wear a lot of make up either and was afraid I wouldn't like all the make up but my skin looked flawless. She did a really good job.

I had my trial with Jacqueline Nicole, who I booked on the SPOT! She was amazing!
I did half my face airbrushed and half regular foundation. I went to bed with it all on, and the makeup lasted a full 24 hours!!! AMAZING! I have pics in my community album, if you want to check it out.
She is a SWEETHEART, too... I can't help to have her around the morning of my wedding!

Re: Jacqueline from I Make Up You...anyone use her?
I had a trial with her and my make-up came out good and it didn't run at all - she used airbrush on me. However, there wasn't much color on my eyes or cheeks (I don't where makeup), so it kind of made me look 'dead'.
My mother and FMIL also had a trial done by her...they were both very disappointed. They looked the same way I did, very 'dead'.
Because I didn't have much time, I booked with her and sent her a deposit. When I contacted her to cancel, I didn't expect the deposit back, but I also didn't expect an attitude either. I thought maybe she would offer to give me another trial...but she didn't. Then I wanted to talk to her again and she never returned my calls.
I hate 'bad mouthing' people, but this is the truth and I would hate to see someone else end up in the same situation.
$50 for trial and $10 for tip $65 to book CANCELLED in the end with Jacquline and booked with someone else.

I also had 2 trials--one with airbrush and one with traditional. I thought the airbrushed makeup lasted much longer--it required no touchups at all. But it does look more 'made up' than traditional makeup. It doesn't feel heavy though, which is good.

Same here - I liked the feel of the airbrush, and it seemed lighter on and didn't smudge but it looked a little more made up in pictures. I'm still a little on the fence, but I'll prob do the airbrush just because I felt the traditional wound up looking more smudged after a few hours, and was more 'shiny' in places in the pictures my FH took. I booked Mia from br!dal L0unge, and did both the trials with her. She was great.
