Jacqueline Nicole make up artist- weird story!

I was going to set up an appt with Jacqueline Nicole but I had a really weird thing happen when I called to make the appt. I called the phone # she emailed me and when I asked to make an apt the guy that answered told me I had the wrong number and then he hesitated and said 'Who are you calling for' I told him Jacqueline Nicole and he hesitated again and said to hold on. I could hear him asking a woman in the background if he should take my number and then he got back on the phone and said 'Ok let me have your name and number and she will call you back' I was alittle hesitant to give it to him because the whole thing was weird but then i heard him whispering to the woman again asking her if 'Jackie' would even call me back if he took my phone#. At that point I just said I would call back tomorrow and I never called back. It just rubbed me the wrong way and seemed very unprofessional. Did anyone of you girls have a trial with her? What did you think?

I think its her Dad...She does The Trials out of a studio she set up at her parentse house (she doesnt live there). I played phone tage with her before I made an appointment, and I had the same man( it sounds like) answer and he was kinda rude to me too each time I called..weird.
BUT she's so great, she does a great job. E-mail her..it was easier, she got right back to me and we set everything up by e-mail.

I actually met Jackie's parents when I had my trial at her studio at their house. They really are veru nice people and her dad was sooo funny and such a character. Don't take it the wrong way. Maybe she is really over booked and she told him not to take calls for her anymore...he might have felt put on the spot or something. I am sure there is an explanation. They really are cool people from what I saw when I was there, and Jackie is such a sweetheart and really talented.
I say call her back or email her....

I met her Mom and her sister and her sisters kids and I too thought they were hilarious, and so friendly, we chatted for a while!

Thanks!! I actually just emailed her to set everything up. As long as she does nice work that is all I care about.

She was AWESOME!! She did my makeup for my wedding. I wouldn't use anyone, but her. She is the BEST!!!

I had a trial with her and fell in love with her instantly. She is extremely nice and professional. A contract was sent out right away and she responds quickly through email.
