Have any of you girls ever been to Jamaica? We are going in Novemeber (for my FH's cousin's wedding)----where did you stay and did you like it? If you went in oct/nov/dec how was the weather?

it was kept up so nice, the staff was very quick and helpful if we can across an issue like needing more towels and breakfast in bed.. they were prompt, and on time, FH even had booked a candle lit dinner one night on the pier and we had a butler, he was very attentive and the grounds we kept so beautiful! It wasnt that pricey either!

I am going in 2 weeks. Will be posting review, I will be staying that the Riu Negril. I've been to other Riu's and loved them. I heard the best places to stay are in Ocho Rios and Negril. However its cheaper to stay in Montego Bay.
Check where the wedding is, becuase the airport is in Montego Bay (or Kingston) and Ocho Rios is a 2 hr drive from there, while Negril is about 1.5 hrs.

the wedding will be on the beach in negril, but I havent found out exactly where yet. I want to stay in negril because I dont want to have to drive or anything. Any other hotel suggestions? Things to do or see in that area other than the beach? Thanks!

We went for our honeymoon in Feb. 07. LOVED LOVED LOVED it! we stay at the Sunset at the Palms, an all-inclusive resort in Negril.

We went to Jamaica last April for my sister's wedding and it was HOT! But sooo much fun! We stayed at the Rockhouse and it was fabulous!
Some of our family also stayed at Idle Awhile which was right smack on the beach and was also pretty fantastic! FM me if you have any questions!

I went a long time ago, with the guy I dated before FH . We stayed at the Sunset Beach Resort and Spa. Its an all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay.
LOVED Jamaica. Go to Dunn's River falls if possible, climbing it is a lot of fun. And try a rum cream - yummy!
