For FI's b-day I gave him a three night, four day trip to Jamaica. I was planning on staying at the Ritz Carlton. However, I did not purchase anything yet.
The more I read about jamaica, the more I am not sure if it is the right place for us.
What has been your experience with the beaches in Jamaica? Also, has anyone stayed at the Ritz?

OMG I love Jamaica!! I have been there about 15 times! We went on our Honeymoon. I don't know all the hotels but anything you want to know about Jamaica, feel free to FM me. Great beaches....!!

I went to Jamaica three years ago. I stayed in Runaway Bay, which if I remember correctly is not that far from the Ritz, the beaches were beautiful there. I don't usually like to go in the ocean and will run at the sight of ocean creatures, but I spent hours in the water in Jamaica. The water was so clear and beautiful and the sand was so soft and white. My cousin is a supervisor at a Liberty Travel and the trip was free for us, I had no desire to go to Jamaica, but figured it was free so what the heck. I ended up absolutely loving it there.
